This function is very important in an automation system such as packing, in mould labeling and in mould insertion. With 3 axis servo robot, SWITEK developed injection moulding automation solutions which include pipe fittings automation system, cutlery automation system, top entry in mould labeling system and other in mould insertion automation solution.
To mention automation, most people will have an articulated robot in their mind picking and placing parts along an assembly line. A three axis servo robot arm injection molding automation solution is something different from an articulated robot arm automation system. Maybe it seems that a 3 axis servo robot is “stupid” because it can move forward/backward, up and down, but with high precision of movement, it can finish the work much more efficient than an articulated robot arm in many injection molding process such as thin wall container, in mould insertion and pipe fittings sprue cutting solution. Not only efficient, with it’s simple structure, the production cost of a 3 axis servo robot arm is much lower than an articulated robot arm and so is the 3 axis servo robot arm automation system. With a 3 axis servo robot as the core picking and placing robot in an injection molding automation system, the cost of the automation process would be much lower than articulated robot arm injection moulding automation solution.
